I am always looking for different ways to cook basic foods. I think we are better off health wise and budget wise when we cook with basics. So after tasting this at a local restaurant I decided to attempt to recreate it at home.
Here is what I came up with:
Serves 4 people
1 cup rice
1 can coconut milk 14.5 oz
1/4 cup sugar
Pinch of salt and pepper
3 tablespoons green onions chopped
Cook rice in coconut milk, salt, pepper, and sugar. Fluff rice with fork. Fold in green onions.
Serve with something slightly spicy.
